↵2) the proud villa complex shrouded in legends of the grandson of the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco (from 1939 until his death in 1975).  A steep hill in the middle - a gorge on one side, and surrounded on three sides by a three-meter-high wall with barbed wire on top + fragments of glass bottle necks twisted into a string with wire. A winding asphalted road leads to the villa, at the beginning of which there is a gate with a warning inscription: "Only with written permission of the police".

 b) Paisaje Protegido de Rambla de Castro - a nature reserve on the other side of the island with a coastal path, trees, historic buildings and ocean views.  It is a protected natural area – a complex scenically valuable and ecologically sensitive complex-enclave that coexists with an excellent Canary Islands palm forest (Phoenix canariensis), specimens of the "dragon tree" (Dracaena draco), diverse plants, reptiles and birds.

5) Los Silos, a uniquely gorgeous city with an old town on the oceanfront, with a promenade that winds along the oceanfront, with gorgeous lava pools at the southern end of the coast.
